This was a logo and branding project created for a primary school in Birmingham. The school was facing some serious problems, and after having received a poor ofsted score they hired a new headteacher who wanted to bring the school around and make it great for both the parents and the students. This headteacher challenged us with creating a logo that reflected everything great about the school. After some research I found that the population of the school was vary diverse, with students coming from over 30 different counties and speaking a wide range of different languages. I also found that the school has a sea theme and I wanted to bring that into the logo. The logo was created by bringing the G and the D together into a globe shape, and the font was chosen because it's simple and easy to read if English isn't your first language.
